The strongside dive is one of the 4 ways to enter the post. In Strongside Dive Dropstep Seal, the post player simulates entering the post and using a dropstep to seal the defender behind him for an offensive opportunity.

 Set up markers as reference points. One marker on the wing as a stating point and one marker in the low post.

Shooter starts in the lane

Shooter comes out of the lane to the wing maker, as a starting point. He the cuts, on a diagonal, into the low post  Strogside Dive Dropstep seal2

In 2 years as a high school coach, his teams produced 6 Division I players and was ranked #1 in Florida 28 out of a possible 34 weeks. In addition to coaching he has scouted for NBA teams, including the Knicks and the Hawks, and served as a general manager in the USBL.
