Fast Break Post to the Low Block, Block to Block

Written by

Fast Break Low Block, Block to Block provides great opportunity to work on conditioning, fast break and low post play all in one drill. Simulating a fast break action, shooter runs up the floor and then turns to attack the basket on the break. Shooter makes a diagonal cut to the block, as if on the break, receives the ball for his shot in the low post. Shooter then makes a block to block cut, as if the ball was reversed, and receives a pass for a second low post play. A great conditioner.

Drill sets up with a marker near mid court and a marker on each elbow.

There is a passer on each side.

If there is no one available to be a second passer, you can use a chair with a ball placed on it. Place the chair just outside the lane, just above the block.

The shooter starts in the lane.
