Diagonal Dive/Duck In Series (Video)

Written by

Entering the low post from the wing, player dives to the block. He then uses a step thru pivot to get his inside shoulder and inside hip between his defender and the ball. He the steps up to receive the ball.

In the first progression, he uses a front pivot to create his shot. In the second progression, he uses a step thru counter to slip by his defender to score.

Great application of basic footwork.
