Attacking With The Dribble (Video)

Written by

Attacking with the dribble is a combination shooting drill that combines ball handling and shooting. Any combination of dribbles can be used.

Start with a marker on the side line ( I use cones) a marker near the top of the key and another marker in a place that requires a strong change of direction and will challenge a ball handler.

Attacking with the Dribble 001
Player starts at the sideline. He pushes the ball hard to the top of the key marker. Attacking with the Dribble 002
He makes a strong change of direction and attacks the second marker. Attacking with the Dribble 003
He makes another strong change of direction, past the second marker, for a shot. Attacking with the Dribble 004

Any change dribble or combination of dribbles can be used. The most important emphasis is on the player challenges his dribble.
